I don’t want to tell how long ago it was that I read an article by Chief Ronnie J. Coleman on how to write an article for Fire Service Trade Journals. I followed the outline offered by Chief Coleman and the next thing I knew was my first published work appeared in Fire Command magazine. I owe a debt of gratitude to Ronnie and Clinton Smoke, the editor of Fire Command for getting me started.
