Millburn, NJ Fire Photos (3)

Auto accident at the intersection of Millburn Avenue and Short Hills Avenue in May of 1978. The 1965 C-95 Mack Pumper is in the background.

Also from May of 1978, a “young” Dave Marsh in the kitchen at Station #2.

The Papermill Playhouse Fire occurred in January of 1980. This incident required a large mutual aid response before the fire was brought under control. Battalion Chief George Olson can be seen in the foreground.

Ed Wade takes the time to strike a pose in front of the 1980 Mack Aerial Scope before traveling to the Newark Fire Muster.

Prior to purchasing the Aerial Scope, the brothers from Fort Lee, NJ Fire brought their Tower over to Millburn so members of the department could check it out. This shot from April of 1980 shows (L to R) Some Poor Guy from Fort Lee, Ed Wade, Bernie Cunningham, and Tony Thomas. They don’t seem to be using all of their fingers to wave.

Another shot of the auto accident at the intersection of Millburn Avenue and Short Hills Avenue in May of 1978. Check out the red “fireball” gloves on the guy with the flashlight.
