I found these newspaper clippings in some of my grandfather “Pa” Buchholz’s belongings. They are from the A & P Supermarket fire that occurred in May of 1956 at Millburn Avenue & Essex Street. The clippings are from The Item and are an interesting read. I attempted to scan these clips in at a high enough resolution to make the articles and photo captions readable.
